Summer Vacation 2011

This picture was taken at the airport, close to midnight. I love Gage's face. It's like he's saying, "seriously mom, a picture at this time, after a fight like that?!"

We headed out for Utah on Wednesday night. Our flight departed at 5:05 pm. We flew into Vegas where we had an hour and a half lay over. Gage was a HANDFUL on the plane. He was not happy to be restricted to such a small area and most attempts of amusement failed. I was grateful when we finally landed in Vegas. The flight from Vegas to Salt Lake City was a breeze, as Gage slept (thank goodness for late night flights). Mom and Clarke picked us up a little after midnight. The next week and a half was filled with parties, food, movies, lakes, golfing and of course Kayla's Emmett reception.

Nonna loves to feed Gage his bottle and cuddle with him, since that's about the only time he will cuddle.
Uncle Clarke keeping Gage busy at the stores while mom shops! Gage only likes to be in a shopping cart if it includes going fast and doing spins! -Maybe a little adrenaline junkie in the making?
Of course we had to stop off at one of Rob's favorite restaurants, Goodwoods.
The boys chillin while the girls are shoppin'
When we went to visit Shan and Trevor, Rob requested a stop at the Idaho Potato Museum.

Like Father...Like Son

After our trip to the museum, we went to the lake. Gage was very hesitant and about the water. In the beginning he preferred to sit up on the sand. But as time went by he found how much fun it can be to splish and splash around. While Nonna watched Gage, I was involved in a pretty serious hand stand in the water competition with Shan and Clarke.

Little guy is growing up too quick. Can you believe he's over a year old? Can't wait till December!

What a fun vacation, always goes so fast, but good memories made. Gage is such a happy boy, I love him he just brings smiles to my face every single time I look at him. You better be one happy momma to such a cute boy.
