Gage has his first cough. He has had a cough for a couple days now. It isn't getting better, but it isn't getting worse. As long as he is doing two things he is a happy little camper: 1.Being held or 2.Being in his jumper.
In all living, have much fun and laughter, life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.

Jump
“Jump Around, Jump Around! Jump up,jump up and get down. Get up stand up, come on! Come on, throw your hands up, If you’ve got the feeling, jump across the ceiling!” (thanks to House of Pain). Gage is our little frogger. About two weeks ago, Gage started to bounce. Whenever we held him, so that he was in a standing position, he would bounce and bounce and bounce. We were at some friends house, watching a Packer game and they noticed Gage bouncing as we held him. They asked if we tried putting Gage in the Baby Einstein jumper and we said no. They let us borrow theirs to take home and let Gage go for a test drive. It was love at first bounce for Gage and he prefers to spend the majority of his time jumping. He is so cute as he bounces and laughs. A couple days later we got a permanent one for our house.

Rice Cereal
Yuck, Rice Cereal
That is what Gage would say if he could talk. But his expression does a fine job of saying it for him!! : ) Gage is not fond of Rice Cereal. We have tried mixing it with water and formula ----- he prefers neither. To make sure it wasn’t a texture issue, we mixed a little bit with apple juice one night. It defiantly isn’t a texture issue because he loved it. But unfortunately for Gage, Dr.Leach said Gage shouldn’t get used to making it with apple juice so we are back to square one.

Changing Times
I was offered a new job for a position that I have been wanting for a long period of time. I was so excited when I got the call that the position, which had been closed for about a year, was now open. There was one little glitch. The job is a full time position, and the hours of the job would only allow me to really see and spend time with Gage on Saturdays and Sundays. Right now, I work about 30 hours a week, but with the way my schedule is set up, I get to spend time with Gage Monday, Friday, Sunday, and half days on Wednesday and Saturday. Even though I would have loved this job, I love spending as much time as possible with Gage and so, I turned down a job that a year ago I thought I never would. This little 13 pound nugget is already able to pull a lot more weight around here! - but we wouldn’t have it any other way : )
