We are all doing well and things are just rolling along. Gage is turning into pure entertainment! Just like his dad, he loves getting laughs out of people. Gage finally made the transition from soy formula to regular milk. I was really concerned that he might be lactose intolerant because every time we attempted to switch from soy formula to regular formula he would go back to intense spit up. But he’s been on regular whole milk for over month and doing great. Gage loves applesauce, “fish”(goldfish crackers), spaghettoes and drinking milk, water, and juice, The kid LOVES to drink. We had to pull back on the liquids because he was continually wetting through his extra protection nighttime diapers, yes extra protection was still not enough. Gage still continues to be inquisitive and likes to figure things out. He has exceptionally fine motor skills and likes to put things together (Example: Gage likes to hold a pen in one hand and the cap in the other and he likes to put the cap on the pen over and over). Gage loves to help cook and play outside. Right now Gage doesn’t like baths and doesn’t like it when someone feeds him. As long as he has a spoon in his hand and can follow along and try and feed himself with a separate spoon he will eat. Gage can say teddy, fish, cooper, shoe, this, daddy and mama. Gage LOVES music and dancing. Gage responds to the following when asked: hi-fives, kisses, bedtime, go bye bye, take Cooper potty and yuck/throw away.
Gage loves to push his truck around the house, especially if he can chase Cooper or I with it
This smile on his face is because I am in front of him, trying to run and get out of the way while taking a picture at the same time. He was very amused with the process!
Gage doesn't know how to turn the truck around when he hits a wall, so he gets this sad little face and looks at you until you turn him around.
Once you've turned him around he's back to racing the truck right at you!
Gage is such a good helper. He loves to help cook and clean......here's to hoping that charactersitic stays around!
Since Gage has mastered walking, he has now decided that walking on its own isn't as fun unless you can carry an object, or two--as Teddy usually has to be close by. His preferene of objects seems to be oblong items and heavier items, at least he has a good self esteem and thinks that nothing is to hard or to small to pick up!
Does life get any better then two Teddy's at one time??!! Teddy #1 was getting pretty used and so thankfully Grandpa sent Teddy #2 along. It took a little awhile for Gage to be satisfied with Teddy #2 but as you can see both have been given the Gage seal of approval ( I forgot to mention above that another one of Gage's favorites is this little chair he is sitting in. Connected to the chair is the "end table" you see in the picture. It has a little lamp and then a place where he loves to put his goldfish crackers).
Gage LOVES to push things: strollers, boxes, grocery carts, cars, and lawn mowers. If you look close enough, Gage has his hand on the mower right next to Rob's.
I know this picture is hard to see, but I love how Rob is with Gage. Now our lawn mower isn't the newest or fanciest of mowers to be had. It takes a good little push to keep it going. Rob is using one hand to push our stubborn mower up a slight slope while holding Gage with the other arm. Gage is helping with all his might as he uses his little arm to help push as well. Together they did the entire backyard....Go Team Cerniglia!!

The Slide. Gage only likes the slide at the park. He wants to go down the slide over and over again. We've tried the swings, the tunnels, and the moving bridge but none seem to bring has much fun as the slide.
Not happy to be leaving the park (what you don't see is that he threw his cup twice and kicked off his shoes---apparently I didn't get the message that he wanted to stay :)
Missionaries are wonderfull!!
Thankfull we have a great little neighborhood park right by our house so these trips can be frequent for the little Gager boy
What a great little helper!! That flashlight was a little heavy for baby boy but he had a steady hand and held it the entire time Grandpa needed it!
He slightly forgot that he wasn't hating his costume when his nosiness got the best of him and he started staring at other kids......and after trunk or treating in the parking lot he was running and playing and forgot all about that cute little puppy on his head!!
